Tai Chi is a Chinese martial art often referred to as moving meditation. This gentle exercise can be learned and practiced by people of all ages. It promotes overall health, body awareness, balance and helps quiet the mind.
Tai Chi is known as the way of non-resistance. It teaches relaxation and mindfulness during physical activity.
Students learn to move with grace and power. In class we start with stretching and strengthening exercises as well as the 8 Pieces of Brocade Qi Gong form and then we focus on the traditional Tai Chi forms.
