Libby is a lifelong mover, starting as a child in ballet, gymnastics and sports, moving into gardening and hiking as an adult. As she aged, she began to notice wear and tear injuries that took some of the pleasure out of her activities. A friend took her to a Pilates class in 2000, and she became fascinated by how focused, specific movements made her injuries heal up and gave her better balance and strength.
Libby took her Pilates mat/apparatus training and certification in Seattle in 2006, and since then has also become certified as a Personal Trainer, YogAlign Instructor, Holistic Health Coach and Healthy Foot Practitioner. She is currently finishing her certification as a Restorative Exercise Specialist through Nutritious Movement.
Libby’s mission is to help clients learn to live more comfortably in their bodies, learn to listen and observe their movements, create stability and strength by providing mindful coaching and strong support and giving clients durable and sustainable new habits and skills to sustain the body and the mind.
